Named after the Czech Renaissance writer Mikuláš Dačický z Heslova, this atmospheric tavern serves hearty, traditional Czech cuisine — think goulash, chicken schtizel, and svíčková, ladled with rich sauces and served alongside bread or potato dumplings — in a dining room of exposed timber beams, painted ceilings, and centuries-old stone walls. It's a favorite stop for many past guests, and a genuine taste of Bohemian cooking in one of Kutná Hora's most characterful settings.

The local beer is amazing and worth a taste.
