Introduction to the history and techniques of Portuguese ceramic tiles, Azulejos: a brief explanation of tradition, patterns, and materials;

Demonstration of traditional painting techniques on Portuguese tiles:

Use of pigments suitable for tiles

Painting on glaze (majolica technique)

Basics of composition and color

Materials provided:

2 tiles per participant (15x15 cm)

Paints

Brushes and support utensils

Tracing paper/pencil if a prior drawing is used

Personalized guidance throughout the process;

Final firing in a ceramic kiln;

Participants receive the finished tile (according to the firing and delivery/pick-up logistics)
